A welcoming project for new student, a get-together of “Thai language major, Suan Sunandha”, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

Thai Language Program of Humanities Department, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized a welcoming project for the new students, a get-together of “Thai language major, Suan Sunandha” on August 7, 2021. The objective of this project is to inherit Thai culture with Wai Kru activities, consolation for new students, lectures from guest speakers, and sharing experiences of alumni by organizing online activities via the Google Meet program.

The activities are the following:

  • There are Wai Kru activities and consolation for new students to demonstrate the disciple's respect for the teacher. It is also for the prosperity of the students. The Thai language program has continually inherited the culture every year.
  • A lecture from the speaker on “Skills for Successful and get Happy University Life” by Dr. Saharat Jetmanorom as a speaker.
  • The activity “Stories on the Successful Path of Thai Major Senior” was honored by Khun Chakrabhan Teenaka, Khun Narongrit Kidhen, KhunThawanchat Bunmak, and Khun Prangthip Phornmanee, who are alumni from various generations and professions to pass on the experience to the youngers.
  • A get-together activity to enhance love and bond between seniors and juniors in the Thai language program.

The activities have got great cooperation from the lecturers and students in the Thai language program. The participants have got more inspiration in learning and working together. Students also have a clearer goal to study in Thai language program and strengthen their mind in studying and living well.
