The 4th-year students from the Geography and Geo-informatics Program clinch 6 awards at the 18th Thai Geography and Geo-informatics Student Conference

February 5–6, 2026 – The lecturers and 4th-year students from the Geography and Geo-informatics Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, participated in the 18th Thai Geography and Geo-informatics Student Conference (TSGC), hosted by the Department of Geography, Faculty of Social Sciences, at the Prof. Dr. Saroj Buasri Innovation Building, Srinakharinwirot University (Prasarnmit), Bangkok.

This year, our students showcased 6 research projects through both oral and poster presentations, successfully securing a total of 6 prestigious awards as follows:

 

Silver Medal Awards (5 Awards)

1. Poster Presentation: Physical Geography Group

Project: Forest Change Assessment Using Satellite Imagery: A Case Study of Wang Nam Khiao District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

2. Poster Presentation: Technical Geography Group

Project: Analysis of the Impact of Urban and Economic Growth on Land Surface Temperature Using Nighttime Light Data and Satellite Imagery: A Case Study of Songkhla Province.
