
Executives, lecturers, staff, and students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences participate in the basic counseling training project "Peer Support"
June 11, 2026 - The Student Affairs and Arts and Culture Department, along with the student club representatives of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, participated in the basic counseling training project "Peer Support," organized by the Student Development Division of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, at the Chor Kaew Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Building 31.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Somsak Klaysung, Vice President for Student Affairs, presided over the training, where it was an honor to have Mr. Thanachot Thiamsang, Deputy Director of the 13th Mental Health Center, along with a team, serve as guest speakers, sharing their knowledge and expertise in basic counseling with the participants.
The training emphasized enhancing knowledge and understanding regarding the nature of the mind, the qualifications of a counselor, an overview of the counseling process, and core skills such as questioning, effective listening, reflecting and capturing feelings, summarizing, and integrating the counseling process to ensure that participants can appropriately apply this knowledge to care for, support, and promote the mental well-being of students.
Participating in this project represents a significant opportunity to develop the potential of staff and student leaders, equipping them to become a support network for their peers. This will ultimately contribute to creating an educational environment conducive to learning, mutual understanding, and a sustainable quality of life.
