
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences organizes the Freshmen Orientation for Academic Year 2026, preparing students for campus life
July 2, 2026 - The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized the Freshmen Orientation for the Academic Year 2026 under the theme “First Step, Future Starts: The First Step to Self-Defined Success.” The morning session featured meet-and-greet activities with advisors and senior students in classrooms at Building 35. The afternoon session was held at the Sunanthanusorn Auditorium, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, to provide new students with a comprehensive understanding of academic expectations and university life, helping them prepare for the upcoming semester. The event saw a full and enthusiastic turnout from both freshmen and advisors.
During the event, students were briefed on the university's academic systems and campus life guidelines and were introduced to the faculty's executive team, lecturers, and staff, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Adchariyaprasit, Associate Dean for Student Affairs. In addition, certificates of recognition were awarded to students with outstanding academic performance for the 2025 academic year, including those recognized for exemplary extracurricular activities, to honor their achievements and inspire their peers.
The orientation concluded with a panel discussion titled “Learn, Live, and Grow in Your Own Way,” led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Adchariyaprasit, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, and Dr. Aungkana Sukwises, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. The discussion covered vital topics including course registration, navigating university life, student activity management, university support services, and faculty amenities, and wrapped up with a recreational activity called “First Heartstopper” to build meaningful connections among freshmen, fostering a warm, welcoming, and confident start to their higher education journey.
