The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Archaeology, Silpakorn University, organized a project to promote morality and volunteerism through cooperative activities with the Student Affairs Network.
August 31, 2024 - Asst. Prof. Dr. Jiraporn Adchariyaprasit, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, together with staff and student club members of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, in collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Amornchai Kahakitgoson, Associate Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Archaeology, Silpakorn University, together with lecturers, staff, and student club members, organized a project to promote morality and volunteerism through cooperative activities with the Student Affairs Network aimed to promote their morality, volunteerism, creative thinking skills, and teamwork, including building a cooperative network between student affairs and external organizations.
The collaboration between the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and the Faculty of Archaeology, Silpakorn University, connects students from different institutions with similar academic programs, benefiting all participants involved in the activities at Silpakorn University’s Wang Tha Phra campus as follows;
- Paying homage to the statue of Prof. Silpa Bhirasri, a renowned figure in Thai art and the founder of Silpakorn University
- Visiting the Wang Tha Phra Art Gallery, the main gallery of Silpakorn University, which hosts art exhibitions and events throughout the year in its historic building
- Recreational and ice-breaking activities
- A knowledge-sharing "Walk Rally" focused on archaeology
- A volunteer activity to clean and sweep the historic areas in the university
- An exchange of experiences among student club members on how their roles can be applied in organizations
- A friendly sports competition (Suan Sunandha – Silpakorn)
