
The Thai Program organizes the "Integrated Studies Project: Exploring Art, Embracing Legends, Preserving Wisdom, and Discovering the Phetchaburi Way of Life"
March 19–20, 2025 - The Thai Program, Department of Humanities, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized the "Integrated Studies Project: Exploring Art, Embracing Legends, Preserving Wisdom, and Discovering the Phetchaburi Way of Life" in Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan. The lecturers and third-year students of the Thai Program visited various learning sites in Phetchaburi, a historical area that was a thriving trade port and a cultural hub. The province is renowned for its skilled artisans in various crafts, earning it the nickname "The City of Master Craftsmen" (Sakun Chang Mueang Phet).
March 19, 2025, it was honored to have Asst. Prof. Saenprasert Panneiam as a guest lecturer, leading the students on an educational tour and providing insightful lectures on the following topics;
- "Exploring Art, Embracing Legends, and Preserving Wisdom: A Visit to Wat Ko" – held at Wat Ko.
- "The Folklore of Goldsmiths: The Goldsmiths of Phetchaburi" – held at Pa Chiw Gold Shop.
- "The Folklore of Thai Desserts" – held at an ancient Thai house along the Phetchaburi River.
