Staff and students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences attend the 2nd Workshop to Develop Potential in Rights Protection

          March 6-8, 2024 – Ms. Jiraporn Harmwong, Acting Head of the Student Affairs Division, together with staff and students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences attended the 2nd Workshop to Develop Potential in Rights Protection, hosted by the Division of Career Protection and Development, Department of Women's Affairs and Family Development, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security where Mr. Thanasunthorn Sawangsalee, Director-General of the Department of Women's Affairs and Family Development was the chair and the lecture, "Potential Development and Creating a Network of Youth Leaders in High Education Level to Enhance Life Skills in Monitoring, Preventing, and Problem-Solving of Prostitution, Teenage Pregnancy, and Family Violence". Ms. Jaruwarin Tanachanasit, Director of the Division of Career Protection and Development reported the purpose of the workshop which aimed to develop the potential of youth and enhance life skills in monitoring, preventing, and problem-solving of prostitution, teenage pregnancy, and family violence including creating a network of youth leaders in high education level.

          In this workshop, there were 2 activities; Walk Rally by 6 principles “Think together, Act together, Join together, Solve problems together, Overcome obstacles together, and Share responsibility”; Group Workshop by the guidelines for problem-solving of prostitution, teenage pregnancy, and family violence in the digital age; and Group Workshop for creating youth leaders to enhance the potential of monitoring, preventing, and problem-solving of prostitution, teenage pregnancy, and family violence including the art therapy to enhance life skills, where the executives of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, government officers, students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences,                    Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and students of the Faculty of Social Work and Social Welfare, Huachiew Chalermprakiet University including the relevant persons attended.

Lastly, Ms. Sirirat Sombat and Ms. Sarah Woertler, representatives of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University said thank you for this good workshop and activities.
