From Future Voices Thailand 2026 to the International Stage at UNCC Bangkok
FHS–SSRU Advances Five Young Winners as Youth Speakers while Faculty and Students Take Active Roles in an SDC International Conference
BANGKOK, 25 September 2026 — The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (FHS–SSRU), marked another important milestone in the development of Future Voices Thailand 2026 as five competition winners, representing four educational divisions, continued their journey from a national English public speaking competition to an international environment at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), Bangkok.
During the day, the young winners participated in Youth Digital Futures Summit 2026 before later taking the stage as Youth Speakers at the Second World Summit on Sustainable Health and Well-Being. The occasion demonstrated how Future Voices Thailand has evolved beyond a competition by creating meaningful opportunities for young people to communicate their ideas, exchange perspectives and gain international exposure.
Youth Digital Futures Summit 2026: Young People and the Digital Future
The five winners first participated in Youth Digital Futures Summit 2026, held under the theme:
for a Sustainable Tomorrow”
The programme brought together young people, students, educators and participants from diverse institutions to exchange perspectives on artificial intelligence, inclusive digital transformation, digital ethics, equitable access to technology and the role of younger generations in shaping a sustainable future.
The breakout sessions created an engaging environment for discussion, questioning and peer learning. Young participants from a range of educational institutions took part in the programme, including a strong presence of students connected with Mahidol, contributing to discussions on technology and the future of society.
Five Future Voices Thailand Winners Continue Their Journey
The participation of the five young speakers represented a direct continuation of Future Voices Thailand 2026, a national English public speaking competition held under the theme:
Organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, the initiative was designed to provide young people with opportunities to strengthen their English communication, critical thinking, creativity, confidence, public speaking and global citizenship through topics connected with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Following the Grand Finale on 18 August 2026, the winners representing the four competition divisions were given an opportunity to extend their experience beyond the national stage.
From the Breakout Sessions to the Main Stage at UNCC Bangkok
One of the most significant moments of the day came after the youth programme, when all five Future Voices Thailand winners moved from the breakout-session environment to the main stage of the Second World Summit on Sustainable Health and Well-Being at the United Nations Conference Centre.
The five young participants served as Youth Speakers, delivering their speeches and sharing the perspectives of younger generations with the wider audience.
The opportunity allowed them to put into practice the skills developed through Future Voices Thailand — including English communication, structured thinking, confidence, public speaking and the ability to communicate ideas to a diverse audience.
Their progression from a national competition stage to recognition as Youth Speakers in an international conference setting reflects the broader purpose of Future Voices Thailand: not simply to identify winners, but to create pathways through which young people can continue to develop and share their voices.
FHS–SSRU Contributes Across Multiple Dimensions
The event also highlighted the active participation of faculty members and students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, across multiple aspects of the international programme.
Beyond a Competition: Building an Ecosystem of Learning and Opportunity
One of the central principles behind Future Voices Thailand is that the journey should not end when competition results are announced.
At the Grand Finale, participants demonstrated their abilities in language, critical thinking and public communication. At UNCC Bangkok, the winners were able to apply those skills in a wider environment, meet young people from other institutions and experience international dialogue first-hand.
At the same time, the participation of FHS–SSRU faculty members in programme leadership, moderation and master of ceremonies duties, together with student volunteers supporting the event, created a broader picture of institutional engagement.
The experience therefore represented more than the participation of five young speakers. It demonstrated an ecosystem connecting the university, schools, young people, academics, students and international networks through communication, technology, sustainable development and experiential learning.
Future Voices, Real Opportunities
From the nationwide call for applications and qualification rounds, to the Grand Finale at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, and ultimately to the moment when all five winners entered the United Nations Conference Centre and served as Youth Speakers at the Second World Summit on Sustainable Health and Well-Being, Future Voices Thailand 2026 has demonstrated how a youth competition can become a pathway to meaningful international opportunities.
The achievement belongs not only to the five young winners, but also to their families, schools, teachers, mentors, judges, organizers, faculty members, student volunteers and partner networks that helped create an environment in which young people are encouraged to think, speak and share their ideas with confidence.
For the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, the occasion also represented another significant step in advancing internationalization and global engagement, connecting language, education, technology, sustainable development and international experience within a single platform.
