Thai Language Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, organized the 1st award ceremony for the Thai Language for Society Project

Thai Language Program, Department of Humanities, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, with the collaboration of Ministry of Culture organized the 1st award ceremony for the Thai Language for Society Project on September 10th, 2020. There was an inspirational speech contest topics of Covid Tales, Good Points of Life Amid the Covid-19 Crisis. Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, honored the ceremony and gave awards. Associate Professor Dr. Niphon Sasitornsaowapa, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences gave honor to attend the ceremony and gave awards as well.

The awardees were as follows:

Tertiary level

           - Winner: Mr. Sirawit Bunprasitikarn from Faculty of Communication Arts, Chulalongkorn University

           - First runner-up award: Miss Jiratchaya Khunchaiyarak from Faculty of Education, Silpakorn University

           - Second runner-up award: Miss Chorphaka Bunprakob from Faculty of Education Mahasarakham University

           - Honorable mention: Mr. Teeranai Punpakdee from Faculty of Education, Silpakorn University

           - Honorable mention: Mr. Wayu Kong-on from Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University

High school level

           - Winner: Ms. Pimtamisa Phansamrit from Chalermkansatri School, Phitsanulok Province

           - First runner-up award: Miss Salisa Cherdsatyanukul from Kanchananukroh School, Kanchanaburi Province

           - Second runner-up award: Ms. Jaruwan Phopeisi from Mayawadee Pittayakom School, Roi Et Province

           - Honorable mention: Mr. Dejsakul Klumboon from Triamudomsuksa School, Northern Region, Phitsanulok Province

           - Honorable mention: Mr. Wasawat Premprejirapark from Satriwithaya 2 School, Bangkok

Thai Language for Society Project Held for young people to demonstrate language proficiency using the Thai language creatively and to show the role of the Thai language that helps to stimulate thinking life guidance and heal people's emotions especially while society is facing COVID-19 crisis.

Thai Language Program would like to say thank you to the President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Many thanks to the contestants and the final practice participants. Finally, congratulations to all the winners.
