Lecturer from Law Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, joined the Project of Encouragement, a Royal Initiative Project, to provide law knowledge to the inmates at Kanchanaburi Prison

Project of Encouragement, a Royal Initiative Project, by the Justice Innovation Development Division, Office of the Permanent Secretary of Justice, organized a training project to provide knowledge and legal advice for inmates (3rd time) at the prison in Kanchanaburi during September 16th-18th, 2020. Mr. Thanawat Phisitchinda, lecturer from Law Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, joined the project as a lecturer. There were Ms. Orakot Meemek, Ms. Arisadee Niang, Ms. Jiratchaya Phuchong, students from Law Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University as teaching assistants.

The team lecturers used an Active Learning method with Infographic teaching media in the training on the topic of lawful defense, an offense with necessity, and an offense by causing anger. They used a counseling teaching method to alleviate legal concerns. Their lecture was about giving important knowledge such as Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Correctional Law, and Pardon Law, including the precautions to avoid committing a criminal offense. Besides, the lecture provided counseling for inmates who wish to seek advice on their specific case.
